LBQ's BBQ, LLC is family owned and operated by Lamar and Staci Barnes. The business has been fueled with a fiery passion that started when Pit Master Lamar Barnes was just a kid. No matter how far away from home he was, he could taste the smell of his father's BBQ ribs sizzling on the grill. Fast forward to 30 years later, and his father asked Lamar if he would be interested in investing into a barbecue truck in the SF Bay area. At the time Lamar was fully invested into his real estate career and declined his offer. A year later his father passed away from a stroke and it was absolutely devastating to Lamar. His best friend and mentor had been taken from him at the young age of 56 years old. The real estate market took a turn for the worse soon after that and Lamar found himself working with his cousin at his BBQ shop (Fat Daddy's BBQ). Two years later, Lamar and Staci decided to start LBQ's BBQ as a legacy business for Lamar's father. Lamar and Staci are extremely passionate about their BBQ and is always looking to leave his customers satisfied with a smile on their face!
